OUR VISION:

Bloomington Christian Church is a group of Christians that is known for excellence In all areas we serve our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Desire is to reach those who do not know Jesus through community involvement, personal witness, youth and children programs, and worship- all as commanded by the Lord. We are a church led by the Holy Spirit, striving to do all things well.

We welcome anyone seeking to find a way to God. Regardless of age, race, place in life, or means.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

*Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, who died for our sins and arose from the dead(:1-8 23)

*Every person has worth as a creation of God but all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

*Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)

*Those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized in Him. (Romans 10:9 &Acts 2:38)

*The Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to evangelize the lost and edify the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-16)

*Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of lords. (1Thessalonians 4:13-18)

We speak where the Bible speaks:

We are silent where the Bible is silent.

We are not only Christians;  We are Christians only.

No Creed but Christ;

BIBLICAL AUTHORITY

The bible is the ultimate authority for what we believe and how we believe.

RELATIONAL EVANGELISM-

Relational evangelism is becoming someone's friend for the sake of eternity.

INTIMACY WITH GOD-

Intimacy with God means that we give Him control of every aspect of our lives, both public and private.

INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP-

Intentional discipleship is anywhere people genuinely connect and are encouraged and challenged in their relationship with God and others.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT-

Leadership development means that we must be training the next generation of leaders for us to be the kind of church God called us to be. We are not called to be experts, but we are called to pass on what we know.

IN SERVICE-

In service we must seek to invest time in the lives of those who do not attend Church and then invite them to attend. In order for this to take place: We must do everything we can to move those

who attend to those who become involved in an area  of ministry.
